I am a mom, a holistic birth doula, and a certified lactation counselor. I also proudly serve Spanish-speaking families en español!

My commitment to you as a doula is to guide you with compassion, warmth, and integrity in this special time, supporting your natural instincts as you prepare for your birth and life with a newborn.

I have a deep respect for the ability of women to birth intuitively when they feel safe, loved and calm. My practice combines a rational, evidenced-based approach to birthing with a holistic focus on the body-mind connection. Among other things, I am certified in Hypnobirthing Support and am trained in Comforting Touch, and Spinning Babies.

I am also passionate about mental health and am a trained Havening Practitioner. Havening serves to clear past trauma, alleviate stress, and build resilience so that pregnant people can move through labor and motherhood in a healthy emotional state.

I believe that every family deserves to have a fulfilling birth experience that they can cherish forever. I have become an enthusiastic advocate for families to make informed choices through the provision of evidence-based information. I believe that this is the foundation for families to be able to feel good about their birth choices. 

Realizing that there is an enormous gap in care during the early postpartum period, I am especially passionate about supporting and nurturing families during their transition to parenthood or as their family grows. I love encouraging new parents to follow their instincts as they get to know their new baby.

I am a birth doula, lactation counselor, childbirth educator, and mom to a little girl. I have been supporting families in NY since 2013 when I started working at Columbia University Early Head Start as a child specialist. I am also trained as a prenatal yoga and infant massage teacher, and I am on my way to becoming an IBCLC.

I am originally from Barcelona (Spain) and my background is in mental health. I am committed to advocating for families, helping them find their own voice and power. After my own birth and postpartum experience, I have become passionate about helping families prepare prenatally for one of the most humbling and transforming experiences of their lives.

I will provide you unbiased, evidence-based, and up-to-date information, so you are fully educated and informed about your decisions. I honor every choice you make and will offer the support that works best for you in a compassionate and nonjudgmental way, helping you feel confident and respected.

I am a Birth and Postpartum Doula, supporting New York City families since 2007. I am DONA trained Doula and Certified Advanced Holistic Doula by The Matrona.

I have a deep understanding of the challenges and joys of the birthing experience, and I use my expertise and compassionate nature to help women feel empowered and confident throughout the process. I approach birth from a whole-person holistic perspective, considering the physical and emotional aspects of it.

I believe that birth is an experience that is profound, intense, and transformative and that all women intuitively know how to labor and give birth under the right conditions. I am passionate about helping the birthing person to connect to that intuition, and help create the space to achieve a calm and nurturing environment for a positive birth experience with respect, support, and without judgment.

I am also a Certified Lactation Counselor, Childbirth Educator, and Certified Health and Wellness Coach by the Institute of Integrative Nutrition of NY. I am an herbalist apprentice currently studying Herbal Medicine for Women.

I am a mother of three, and my own experience navigating the New York City labor and delivery system inspired me to become a Doula. When not supporting births you can find me walking the hidden paths of Prospect Park in Brooklyn.
